Development: Photoshoot

For my magazine cover and feature pages, I chose a female in her teens, which aligned with my target demographic. My model wore A painter's apron along with painter tools, such as a paintbrush, pencil, canvas, and paint pallet. These items are often used in the art world, which influenced my wardrobe choices for my model. My model's costume was casual and can be associated with young teen fashion trends while being suitable for painting. I styled my model to look like a average female teenager, no makeup as to keep her natural, since my target audience is in the 16-19 age range. My models' props are common art tools so that most classes of people can indulge in my magazine, and I don't use a specific race that I adhere to since my audience is multi racial. for a majority of my images, they were taking between an art classroom and a patio art studio. I chose an art room to be suitable for my background since it relates to my genre, I also chose the outdoors for some diversity. Fo r my images I used what I had available which was my phone, it's the Samsung galaxy flip Z 3rd generation model.

During my magazine photoshoot I did run into lighting problems because of the current weather at the time. But with options of different locations, and the use of photoshop I was able to make it work out in the end.
