My Colors

For my magazine I will be focusing on art as my genre and fine art as my sub genre, specifically between 1500s-1800s art works from recognized artist .I chose this topic because I have background knowledge on the subject, I also enjoy art personally and find that choosing this topic will allow the final product to be more thoughtfully created and also enjoyable for myself. I plan to create a magazine that illustrates the progression of classical art from different times periods from infamous artist from history and modern times, such as Michelangelo, DaVinci, van Gogh and others. From the data collected from my audience research I will focus my magazine to cater towards Black/African American females in their late teens. To increase the viewership from my targeted audience I will make it a priority to include Black/African American female artist, in order for my viewers to feel more aligned and relatable with the content of my magazine. My color pallet was chosen based on my collected data, which showed a liking to more less saturated colors, they are shown above.
